But anyway, paladins are imo nicer in PvE, so the horde is getting a boost there. Paladins can also be pretty excellent in PvP if they're teamplayers. However, a Shaman can also be an excellent PvP player, BUT also as soloplayer. That's a lot harder for a paladin. All in all, I'd say Horde is getting boosted though on the whole. Although shamans are rather imba, blessings are easier to use than totems for raids. Shaman > paladin in general, but BoK, BoW, BoS, BoL & BoM in a raid is extremely usefull.

But I just don't understand why Blizzard is using such an easy way out. It would be like giving the Terrans in Starcraft some units of the Protoss, it makes absolutely no sense and totally fucks up the whole feeling of the game. I can't go fighting paladins in PvP, that just feels wrong. And they just don't belong in the Horde. Why we'd want Shamans is a mystery too. I'm fine with having druids as nature-loving Alliance-mates, but I'm not too keen on having some frost, earth & whatever-shocking squid-faces in the Alliance... :P

Anyone else have any opinion on this?

I don't like this decision AT ALL! I don't know how you guys see it, but I chose a paladin because it's the class I have always liked and which I identify most with. Now it's going HORDE? WTF? This is an outrage :( F*CK balance! I don't care about balance. Now Horde & Alliance are basically the same, cause races make a hell of a lot less difference than classes.

I am rather much pissed off at the moment, maybe this will change, but I REALLY don't get this... LORE ANYONE?? BLIZZARD?? What were they thinking.... This is such an easy and extremely cheap way to handle the problems. Just make Alliance and Horde the same! Sure! Screw around with any lore that might be left! Throw in some spaceships (oh wait, already happened) and lightsabers too, who cares?!?!? Pffffffffffffffff :?

Btw, my account expired yesterday-evening, I need to get myself a new gamecard...
